The modular design and interchangeable panels allows you to upgrade, maintenance or replace your radiator without replacing the entire unit.
The right size electric radiator depends on your room measurements and how easily the room holds heat (for example: insulation, ceiling height, external walls and window size). NEOS electric radiators are available in up to 5 power ratings and 3 formats (standard, vertical and junior), so you can match the heat output to each room.

NEOS is a hybrid electric radiator built for modern electric heating. It runs on a standard electricity tariff, rather than relying on overnight charging tariffs like Economy 7 (E7) or Economy 10 (E10) that were designed around older night storage heaters.
Instead of storing heat overnight and releasing it whether you need it or not, the NEOS combines direct heat when you want it with a soapstone core that continues to give out warmth after the radiator switches off. The result is more usable warmth for your oom, plus the flexibility to heat rooms on your schedule.
The NEOS also features our patented back wall technology, designed to reduce heat loss into the wall behind the radiator and push more usable warmth into the room.
The NEOS can also be used with smart tariffs, such as Octopus Cosy, which provides 8 hours of off peak electricity every day.
Trust Electric Heating supports customers across the UK, including England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. We can also supply our products to Ireland and Europe (supply only). Availability can vary depending on the type of service you need, so if you share your postcode we can confirm what we can offer in your area.
Electric radiators can be a safe, convenient, and efficient heating option for many homes. They are often easy to install, and can be a good choice if you’re looking for a lower maintenance setup. Because they don’t burn fuel in your home, there are no fumes from combustion. They can also be controlled individually, so you can heat specific rooms as needed, which may help avoid heating empty rooms.
If you have a poorly insulated property, you may be wondering if electric radiators are a suitable heating option for you. At our heating company, we take into account the unique characteristics of your property, including insulation and glazing, to calculate the required efficiency factor for each room. This means that if you have a poorly insulated property, we will provide you with a larger radiator with an increased efficiency factor to ensure optimal performance. So, you can be rest assured that our modern electric radiators will provide you with reliable and efficient heating all year round, regardless of your property’s insulation.
If you have a poorly insulated property, you may be wondering whether electric radiators are still a suitable option. We take into account the details of your home, including insulation and glazing, to work out the heat requirement for each room. In some cases, this means recommending a larger radiator (with a higher heat output) so the room can reach and hold a comfortable temperature.
While results will always depend on the property, we will recommend a setup designed to give you reliable, consistent warmth based on your home’s needs. For more immediate enquiries, book a consultation with us or call us on 0800 5999 109
No house is the same, and our radiators are made to order to fit your home perfectly, that’s why the price can vary depending on what you need. As a general guide, the average radiator starts from £1000.
While this can feel like a bigger upfront cost, it is an investment in long-term heating. NEOS is designed to last and comes with a 25-year guarantee and UK-based support, so you are paying for reliable electric heating over many years, not a short-term fix.
The costs can also vary depending on the controls you choose, the radiator models, and whether any extra electrical work is needed.

Electric radiators can last for many years, especially if you invest in a high-quality model and maintain it properly. Here are some tips for extending the life of your electric radiator:
By following these tips, you can enjoy the benefits of your electric radiator for years to come and save money on replacement costs in the long run.
We are the only electric radiator on the UK market with a different front panel to the back, featuring patented back wall technology. Our dimpled back wall is designed to help reduce heat loss into the wall behind the radiator and direct more warmth back into your room instead, giving you more usable warmth from the electricity you pay for. This patented design, combined with our Quadvex 4-point convection system, helps deliver, consistent warmth with efficient heat circulation.
The NEOS is designed to warm your room quickly and evenly using two main features: Quadvex convection and a natural soapstone heatcore. The Quadvex system uses the dimpled back panel and the front flutes to help move warm air around the room more effectively, so heat is distributed more evenly. The back panel is also designed to help redirect warmth back into the room, rather than letting heat disappear into the wall behind the radiator.
Once your room reaches the temperature you’ve set, the radiator switches off automatically. The soapstone heatcore then continues to release stored warmth gradually, helping keep the room comfortable for longer without using extra electricity.
Our radiators draw cold air in from the floor and rapidly convert it into warm air using our double convection flutes. We use double convection flutes to increase the warm air flow throughout the room and this results in a quicker heat up time. Other companies just use single convection flutes, which makes the convection process slower. Our radiators (dependent on your thermostatic choice) have a sensor to measure the room temperature at the floor level (the coldest part of the room) ensuring even heat distribution and no more cold feet. Some other manufacturers use complicated and expensive wall mounted thermostats that turn the radiators off after only the top half the room has been heated.
How to install an electric radiator
Installing an electric radiator is a relatively simple process that can be done by anyone with basic DIY skills. Here are the steps you need to follow:
By following these simple steps, you can install an electric radiator safely and quickly.
Electric radiators work by using an electrical element, usually made of metal, which heats up when an electrical current is passed through it. This element is contained within a housing, often made of steel or aluminium, which radiates heat into the surrounding environment.
Trust Electric Heating does not currently offer finance. However, there are a couple of ways you can spread the cost. We usually ask for 50% payment when you place the order, with the remaining balance due shortly before installation. You can also choose to upgrade in stages, for example doing 2 or 3 rooms at a time, which can help spread the cost over time.
It’s one of the most requested features!, but the NEOS radiator is designed to be wall-mounted, so it doesn’t currently have a freestanding option. NEOS radiators are made to order for your home, so you can choose the right model and heat output for each room.
Despite being built for strong performance, the radiator is only around 20kg on average, so it typically doesn’t need extra support beyond correct fixing into a suitable wall. Once installed, it gives you an efficient, space-saving setup with a clean, modern finish.
Yes as long as it is installed at least 60cm away from the water source.
Yes, you can install the radiator yourself. NEOS radiators are typically powered from a nearby domestic 3-pin socket, or they can be hard-wired into a fused spur. If hard-wiring is required, or if any electrical upgrades are needed, this would usually need to be done by a qualified electrician. If you want to check what additionals are required for your home, call 0800 5999 109.
Alternatively, We can install the radiators for you, and we can also remove and dispose of old storage heaters if needed. Removal and disposal is £75 per old storage heater, or 50% off if you can take the heater off the wall yourself and have it ready for collection. Our team will collect and dispose of it in line with WEE compliance.
Electric radiators can save you money on your heating bills if used correctly. They are 100% efficient, meaning that every unit of electricity you use is converted into heat. You can also save money by using precision heating, taking advantage of energy-saving features, and avoiding the installation costs associated with traditional heating systems.
Yes. Trust Electric Heating is a Which? Trusted Trader, which means we have been assessed and approved under the Which? Trusted Traders scheme.
Yes, electric radiators are safe to use if they are used correctly and maintained properly. They do not produce harmful emissions, do not require gas connections, and do not have any hot surfaces that can cause burns. Many electric radiators also come with automatic shut-off features that turn the heater off if it overheats or tips over.
To ensure that your electric radiator is safe to use, follow the manufacturer’s instructions carefully and keep the unit clean and well-maintained.

While it’s true that electric radiators are 100% efficient at converting electricity into heat – meaning they transform nearly all the energy they consume into heat – not all electric radiators are equally effective at distributing that heat throughout a room. Effectiveness depends on design features that impact how quickly, evenly, and comfortably a radiator can heat a space.
