How does Electric Heating work?
Sounds like a silly question, but it’s not we promise! Electric heating works by converting electricity into heat. This is typically done by heating elements, such as coil wires which are designed to heat up when an electrical current is passed through them. This heat can then be transferred to the surrounding air, which in turn warms the room. Some electric heaters use radiant heating elements that directly heat objects in the room, while others use forced-air systems to circulate heated air via a convection process.
NOTE: The type of electric heater and heating element used will determine how the heater operates and the level of efficiency it provides.
