NEOS Cable Length & Electrical Requirements (What You Need to Know Before Installation)

NEOS Cable Length & Electrical Requirements (What You Need to Know Before Installation)

Electrical details matter, not because you need to become an electrician, but because you want the install to be safe, tidy, and straightforward.

What power supply do NEOS radiators use?

NEOS radiators are powered from the mains. Your electrician will confirm the correct supply and protection for your property.

Where does the cable come out?

Depending on the model and installation, the cable exit can be arranged to suit the layout (for example, left or right). This helps keep the finished look neat.

What about cable length?

Cable length can vary depending on the model and install approach, so rather than guessing, we recommend confirming the exact cable details when you’re quoting or ordering, usually.

We will cut the cable on sight, dependent on your preference of length, this is done to reduce wastage of materials.

Safety and suitability

A few common-sense points worth knowing before any electric heating install:

  • Don’t cover heaters with clothes or soft furnishings

  • If a cable or plug is damaged, it must be dealt with safely

  • Installation should be carried out by a qualified electrician/competent person
