We calculate the power you need using your room measurements and the nature of the room and property (for example insulation, glazing and external walls). If you would like us to work out the right specification for each room, call 0800 5999 109 or book a consultation with us. Once the power specification is confirmed, you can choose the radiator style that best suits your room and décor.

A thermistor is a small temperature sensor used to measure the temperature around your radiator. Depending on the thermostat you choose, it may be located at the bottom left or right-hand side of the radiator (as a small black cable), or in the RF relay unit at the side of the radiator. The RF relay unit is a small wireless receiver that lets the thermostat communicate with the radiator.
The thermistor helps the system take accurate temperature readings and communicates with the thermostat, so the radiator can respond properly and maintain the temperature you have set.

What size electric radiator do I need?
The right size electric radiator depends on your room measurements and how easily the room holds heat (for example: insulation, ceiling height, external walls and window size). NEOS electric radiators are available in up to 5 power ratings and 3 formats (standard, vertical and junior), so you can match the heat output to each room.
If you’d like us to recommend the right combination for your home, call 0800 5999 109 or book a Free consultation with us.
