Does the NEOS electric radiator have to be hard wired?
Nope! You can either hard-wire it or plug it into a socket. We provide a 3-pin plug with every radiator for flexibility. But for larger radiators, we do recommend hard-wiring.

Do we remove and dispose of your old heating system?
Yes, we remove most electrical heating systems, but this does incur an extra cost. Your engineer can include this in your quote if needed. Please note, some heaters contain asbestos and require special disposal, and wet systems might need extra work.

Yes, we offer 2 options for installation. Firstly, you can install yourself and the installation is generally straightforward, with the radiators going into a regular socket or a fuse spur. We supply fitting and operating instructions via a manual and how to videos and if need be, phone support. However, if you have any concerns about the circuit or consumer unit within your property, a Which? registered electrician would be the ideal person to carry out any additional electrical work. Or we can install and take all the hassle away!

What is the lead time?
Usually, our install and delivery take about 4-6 weeks, but this can vary depending on stock levels. Delivery is often faster than installation. For larger orders, it might take a bit longer. Your account handler will advise you of the lead time after your order is confirmed.

Our radiators are installed with two wall brackets and 4 hooks onto a wall. They are then either plugged into a power socket or connected (hard-wired) to a fused-spur. All of our radiators come with a 3-pin plug so you have both options! However, we do recommend hard-wiring - if we are installing we will specify this.

Why do electric radiators make noise?
It’s normal for electric radiators to make some noise. This can happen because the internal elements expand as they heat up. If your radiator has fans, they might also contribute to the sound. If you’re worried about your NEOS making noises, just give us a call at 0800 599 9109. We’re here to help!

Can the NEOS be freestanding?
The NEOS is designed to be wall-mounted, so it doesn’t have a freestanding option. But don’t worry—it only weighs about 20kg on average, so it doesn’t need any extra support. It’s easy to install and perfect for your walls!
